Squirrels Lodge

We undertook Mr and Mrs Taylor’s project from start to finish and enjoyed working very closely with the Taylors to achieve their vision. The project involved significant challenges due to ecological and environmental constraints.

The property is made up of a masonry substructure, block and beam floor incorporating a brickwork plinth. The external walls consist of a timber frame with an external leaf of blockwork finished with a monocouche render system.

All windows and doors were by specialist design and manufactured to the highest standards required and were then encased with decorative Portland stone cills and eyebrows.

The roof covering is a green slate which enhances the gothic-style chimneys. Externally the property has 2 large glazed oak balconies, sandstone patio areas and a shingle drive.

Internally this property has been finished to a very high standard with attention to detail in all areas, especially the kitchen and bathrooms.
