Burseldene

We were commissioned to carry out a new build of Burseldene by our client in 2015.

The project consisted of demolition of the existing chalet property. The construction of a single dwelling of over 300m2 complete with patio area and glass balustrade surrounding and the construction of a garage block which was excavated in to the side of a bank.

The foundations for this project where specialist designed by the engineer due to the close proximity of trees and retaining walls to the dwelling.

Burseldene was built in traditional construction methods and a traditional cut roof incorporating glulam beams.

Part of the property has steel frame incorporated within the walls to allow for the series of bifold doors throughout , this gives the option of  the complete rear of the house to be open for entertaining.

Walls are finished with white monocouche render, green slate roof and stylish aluminium Lindab Guttering.

This is a very minimalistic modern stylish house truly one of a kind which had been carefully designed by our clients. It was a pleasure working through all the challenges that this bespoke property held and together with our client a beautiful family home was deliverd on time and to budget
