Lord Pembroke and the Wilton Estate commissioned us to execute a new construction project in Fovant. This endeavour entailed demolishing existing school facilities and utility buildings to make way for the creation of two spacious three-bedroom detached residences, complete with a car barn, parking facilities, and a freshly laid access road.
Crafted with a blend of stonework and brick features, the new dwellings boast roofs adorned with both slate and clay tiles. The car barn, constructed from oak frames and clad in suitable materials, offers ample parking space within the site.
The project presented several challenges, including the sloping terrain and the safe removal of hazardous waste. Additionally, ecological considerations needed addressing, all of which were successfully managed throughout the project’s duration.
Close collaboration with the client ensured that the project was completed on schedule and within the agreed budget. Working alongside the Wilton Estate proved to be a rewarding experience, and we take pride in delivering this captivating project to fruition.
