When Clive and Tanith Cummings came to us with the opportunity to help them refurbish an old pub they had just acquired near Alresford we jumped at the chance.
They had the vision to transform the old pub, which had been open for many years previously and needed some TLC, into a gastro pub with a boutique country-style interior and state-of-the-art commercial kitchen.
We worked with them over 6 months restoring much of the roof, and chimney stacks, stripping and re-building the old bar with bespoke joinery, re-fitting the wcs and finishing with beautiful panelling throughout.
The clients had a keen eye for detail and an emphasis on good finish and it all needed to be completed within a specific time scale ready for opening.
