Through a recommendation from a client, we were introduced to Trevor and Alison who had bought a piece of land with planning permission and were looking for a contractor to build them a one-off bespoke ‘eco-house’ in the New Forest complete with an outdoor pool.
This project was very much design-led from the beginning, with the architect and client having a specific vision and keen eye for detail.
Laurel Cottage was a fascinating project, completed to a very high standard throughout – it included a unique steel structure, part zinc, part sedum roof, bespoke timber cladding, render on the externals with internal finishings including a polished concrete floor, bespoke kitchen, minimal aluminium sliding doors, an MVHR system ground source heat pump powering the underfloor heating.
Trevor and Alison were a pleasure to work with and we thoroughly enjoyed the journey and every challenge the project brought from start to finish.
