We came across the sale of a rundown bungalow on a parcel of land in Otterbourne and saw the potential for a small development site.
We worked with the council planning team, looking at various schemes that would fit within the local plan and were finally able to agree on a design and secure planning approval.
The build began with the demolition of the existing bungalow and led to the construction of 4 three bedroom, 3 bathroom semi-detached homes which were all sold before they were complete, some 14 months later.
The new houses were cleverly designed to maximise the space on the site, with a private drive at the entrance and good-sized gardens at the rear. All four plots were designed with energy-efficient heating systems, with air source heat pumps and underfloor heating on the ground floor.
